About LRMD

History

Lithuanian Amateur Radio Society - Lietuvos Radijo Mėgėjų Draugija (LRMD) is non-profit public organization, joining Lithuanian radio amateurs. Main activities include collaboration with our authorities (RRT) for protecting radio amateurs rights, serving QSL bureau, publishing information bulletin “LY QTC”. Every year we arrange several contests and have established a number of awards. LRMD members practice to meet together twice a year: at a General Meeting and at a hamfest in summer-time somewhere in a beautiful place.

Visiting LRMD

We invite to visit new LRMD headquarters in Vilnius (Gelvonu str. 33).

Local radio amateurs meet there every Wednesday at 17:30.

We will appreciate any presentation about your radio society or club, about your personal ham radio activities.

Arrange your visit with LY1DL

Every summer Lithuanian radio amateurs gather together to their traditional HAMFEST somewhere in a beauty spot in Lithuania. It will provide excellent occasion to meet over 300 LY hams in the same place.
